Sierra StevensSchool of the Arts
Sierra’s list of extracurricular activities leaves quite the impression. It consists of multiple dance teams, fashion events, and the school news! She is a member of the national Honor Society, Metro Council for Teen Potential, and Delta GEMS Program. Sierra has volunteered over 46 hours of her time to giving back to her community. Some of her highlighted voluntary work includes her neighborhood’s annual Christmas Giveback event, the American Red Cross, and the Jordan Health Front Porch Festival & Health Fair. Service has been a focal point for Sierra ever since she was young and is always looking for the next opportunity to help those who are less fortunate.

One interesting fact about Sierra: “Although I like to perform in front of crowds, I’m actually very shy.”
Attending school in fall 2021: “I plan to attend SUNY Brockport in the fall I plan to major in dance and minor in business administration.”
How do you plan to use your scholarship funds? “I plan to put my scholarship funds towards my tuition to lower the loans I will have to take out.”
What parts of high school are you most proud of? “The experiences I am most proud of is receiving the Rochester City School District’s Susan B. Anthony Leadership Award and graduating.”
What Sierra is most looking forward to in her college career: “I am looking forward to starting the next chapter in my life at college (and past college) and just hopefully being able to travel the world to experience new things.”
