Here’s all you need to do to sign up … and sign on.

Get Ready to Sign In

• Make sure you have your ESL member number and PIN handy.
• Your PIN may have been established when you joined ESL. Please remember that it is different from the PIN used for ATM transactions.
• If you can’t remember your PIN or you need a new one, connect with an ESL Representative so we can help.

Confirm Your Contact Information and Get Your Access Code

• You will need to provide or confirm your email address or phone number so you can receive a Single-Use Access Code that will let you sign in for the first time.
• You can choose to receive your code via text, email, or phone call.
  • Note: Text is the fastest way to get your access code. Some email services are slower.

Enter Your Code and Decide Whether You Want to Register Your Computer

• Enter your Single-Use Access Code when you see the code prompt on the screen.
• Register your computer if you want to streamline the future login process.
• If you don’t register your computer, you will need a new Single-Use Access Code every time you sign in to online banking.

Change Your PIN to a New Password

• After you enter the Single-Use Access Code, you will be prompted to change your PIN to a new password.
• Please remember passwords are case-sensitive—they must include 8 to 32 characters and combine both letters and numbers/symbols.

• Pay all your monthly bills, including utilities, cable TV, Internet, and your cell phone service.
• Pay anyone in the U.S. – including friends or family members – simply by entering their address.
• Schedule both one-time and recurring payments.
• Schedule payments so they arrive the next business day.
• Set up email reminders so you never miss a payment due date.

With online banking, you can access pdfs of your monthly ESL statements with a few simple keyboard clicks.Once you sign up for Online Statements, you’ll also access your ESL tax documents from Online and Mobile Banking.

Choose Online Statements – and Save Time and Paper

• Sign in to ESL Internet Banking.
• Choose either the Member Center menu then select Statements, or navigate to the Account Transaction screen and select Online Statements.
• Follow the instructions to receive your statements online.

Please remember that when you choose online statements, your future statements and tax documents will be available online. Statements and tax documents prior to the online start date cannot be accessed online.

Quickly Access 18 Months of Statements

• After you sign in, click Member Center menu. Then select Statements. Links to your available statements will appear.
• Your online statements — which are pdf versions of your paper statements — are stored online for 18 months.

Tax Documents Available Online

By receiving your statements online, you’ll also receive your tax documents in Online and Mobile Banking! When new tax documents become available, we’ll email you to let you know.

To view them in Personal Online Banking:

1. Hover over “Member Center”
2. Click on the link for “Notices & Tax Documents”
3. Click on the PDF icon next to the Tax Document you’d like to view, print, or save

To view them in Personal Mobile Banking:

1. Tap “More” at the bottom of the screen
2. Tap “Notices & Tax Documents”
3. Tap the PDF icon next to the Tax Document you’d like to view, print, or save

Receive Additional Notices Online

Once you sign up for online statements, you will also receive online notices that deal with the day-to-day activities on your ESL deposit and loan accounts, including:

• Certificate Renewal/Maturity Notices
• ESL Loan Late Notices
• Overdraft Notices

When a new notice is ready for viewing, you will receive an email message from ESL.

• To view your notices, select Notices & Tax Documents from the Member Center drop down.
• Notices are stored online for 60 days.
