Sumayia IslamCommunity Impact Coordinator
As Community Impact Coordinator, Sumayia supports the ESL Community Impact team with grant management and operations. She has several years of experience working with nonprofit organizations and serves as a support to applicants and nonprofit leaders working through the grant application process. In addition to her work to assist external community partners, Sumayia also assists the Community Impact team with a variety of administration and reporting activities.
Sumayia earned a bachelor’s degree from Nazareth College. She actively volunteers with the Fairport Diversity Council, Autism Speaks, and American Cancer Society. In her free time, Sumayia enjoys traveling, spending time with friends and family, and reading. She has a passion for fashion, art, music, dance, and learning about different cultures.
