Monika ReifensteinCommunity Impact Relationship Manager
Monika works as the Relationship Manager overseeing Community Impact’s Building Strong Neighborhoods initiative. She brings more than seven years of experience to her role, including prior work with Community Design Center of Rochester, Reconnect Rochester, Girls Rock! Rochester, and Legal Assistance of Western New York. As Relationship Manager, Monika supports the Community Impact team in a variety of activities including grant making, relationship management with grantees and community partners, research, and working to identifying opportunities for neighborhood development and affordable housing initiatives.
Monika holds dual bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Study of Women and Gender from Smith College and also spent time studying in the Netherlands and Morocco. She volunteers her time with several Greater Rochester organizations, including as Treasurer of Concentus Women’s Chorus, and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa and Psi Chi. She enjoys singing, playing piano and saxophone, screenwriting, and crafts.
