Michelle ShaferSenior Community Impact Relationship Manager
Michelle brings more than fifteen years of community impact experience to ESL, having previously been a non-profit and public health leader focused on outcomes-based programming, grant management, and stakeholder convening. Most recently she worked at March of Dimes as a director for maternal and child health, as well as a director for strategic partnerships. As a Senior Relationship Manager, Michelle promotes collaborative efforts by participating in and funding initiatives that help the greater Rochester region become healthy, resilient, and equitable.
Michelle graduated with a bachelor’s in Health Science and Health Education from the State University of New York at Brockport, and a master’s in Public Health from Johns Hopkins School of Public Health. Away from the office, Michelle volunteers her time with her children’s elementary school, and enjoys exploring Rochester’s orchards, parks, and trails with her family.
