ESL Names Jane Hasselkus and Corinda Reaves to Board of Directors

Rochester, NY — ESL Federal Credit Union recently announced the new appointments of Jane Hasselkus and Corinda Reaves as the newest members of its Board of Directors.

Hasselkus recently served as senior director, life cycle management for Cooper Vision, Inc. Reaves is chief community and customer experience officer at Rochester-Genesee Regional Transit Authority.

“We’re excited to have Jane and Corinda join the ESL Board of Directors,” said Erin Tolefree, Chair, Board of Directors, ESL Federal Credit Union. “Their extensive knowledge and skillsets built across their diverse careers will be welcome additions to the Board, as they will surely help us continue to drive the organization forward.”

Hasselkus has over 25 years of marketing, business management, and strategic planning experience in a variety of industries and geographic markets. Most recently she served as the Senior Director, Life Cycle Management for Cooper Vision, Inc. She has also worked for Carestream Health, as its Director, United States & Canada Sales Operations and Eastman Kodak Company, supporting its Health Group in multiple roles, including serving as its Business Operations Director. Ms. Hasselkus earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. She currently serves as Board Chair for Geva Theatre and previously served on the boards of Volunteers of America Upstate New York and YWCA of Rochester and Monroe County.

Reaves has over 24 years of experience in government service, holding an array of positions, including Deputy County Executive for Health and Human Services, Commissioner of the Monroe County Department for Human Services, and Director of the New York State Office for the Aging. In May of 2023 Ms. Reaves joined the executive leadership team at Rochester-Genesee Regional Transit Authority, where she serves as its Chief Community and Customer Experience Officer. She holds a Bachelor of Science in psychology from SUNY Brockport and earned her master’s degree from Syracuse University. Ms. Reaves serves on the Board of Action for a Better Community.

The Board of Directors for ESL Federal Credit Union consists of a diverse group of influential and successful leaders from a broad spectrum of disciplines. This distinguished group of men and women oversees the various activities of ESL and helps ensure the organization’s long-term profitability and sustainability.

With Hasselkus’ and Reaves’ appointments, the ESL board is composed of nine directors, eight of which are independent volunteers.
