ESL Federal Credit Union Hosts Beam Signing Event to Celebrate Construction of New Bull’s Head Branch in the City of Rochester

ESL Leaders, Community Members, and Dignitaries Sign a Construction Beam as a Symbol of Community Collaboration

Rochester, NY — ESL Federal Credit Union celebrated the construction of its newest branch location today at 835 West Main Street with a beam signing event held at the construction site. ESL leaders, community members, and dignitaries signed a construction beam that will be built into the structure of the new office as a symbol of the community working together to support one another.

The new branch is the third of three new branch builds in the City of Rochester since 2021 to help improve access to financial resources for city residents and businesses.

“We look forward to continuing to connect with residents and businesses in the Bull’s Head neighborhood and the surrounding community through our new branch on West Main Street,” said Mike Prince, vice president/director, branch network and contact center, ESL Federal Credit Union. “ESL is committed to helping our community thrive and prosper, and providing convenient access to financial products and services is one way we’re able to support those who work and live in the City of Rochester.”

ESL worked closely with City of Rochester for site selection within the Bull’s Head Redevelopment project. Construction is underway with the new office scheduled to open for business in the fall 2025.

The new Bull’s Head office will employ seven employees as part of the ESL workforce of more than 950 employees throughout the Greater Rochester region. The team will include employees who are fluent in Spanish to assist the needs of the Spanish-speaking community. This new location will be a full-service facility with 24-hour ATM access and drive through services.
