To Jean, belonging to something bigger means everything. “It means the sky’s the limit. Wherever I want to go, as long as I’m willing to do the work, I have somebody to count on.” Jean came to Rochester more than 20 years ago from Haiti and became a member of ESL to help support his family and get his sailboat upholstery and canvas sewing business up and running.
