For Christine, belonging to something bigger means looking out for people in the community and helping those who don't have somebody in their corner. As a nurse working in correctional health care, she serves incarcerated men and women who are grateful to get their mental and physical health and life back on track — “to where they were before life took them in a different direction,” she said.
