In November 2015, the Ibero American Action League launched the first 24/7 local Spanish radio station in Rochester. 97.1FM WEPL, El Poder Latino (Latino Power), provides a voice for the communities served by Ibero and Poder while supporting civic and cultural diversity through information, education, music, and entertainment.
Poder brings people together, regardless of ethnic background, and serves as a trusted resource for the community, nonprofits, and businesses.
To coincide with its eighth anniversary on the airwaves, Poder announced its transition to a commercial radio station and its expanded reach to listeners beyond the City of Rochester.
