Headquarters Construction Update
Project Ahead of Schedule and on Budget

Construction of the corporate headquarters is proceeding very well - in fact the project is a bit of ahead of schedule and is well within the established budget.

Although construction activity may look as if it has diminished, there is much work being done "behind the scenes". The larger erection crane is now gone since its extended reach is no longer required. Smaller cranes and scaffolding will be used as the project progresses. Curing of concrete floors at and below ground level is also occurring. In addition, much of the backfill and utility tie-in work is progressing at this time.

As average temperatures begin to increase with the arrival of spring, above ground concrete pours will begin. The vertical towers for the garage will be started in early May. By the end of August, the entire structure will be weather tight - windows, roofing, brick and paneling all will be in place. The building will look nearly finished from the outside but, of course, there will be a great deal work occurring inside during the ensuing months.
