Rochester, NY -- ESL President/CEO David Fiedler and Monroe County Executive Maggie Brooks presented a check in the amount of $16,893.99 to Lifetime Assistance Foundation, Inc. on Friday, Nov. 14. The check was part of the proceeds raised from the 2008 ESL International Air Show, which was held this past July at the Greater Rochester International Airport. Lifetime Assistance President/CEO James Branciforte accepted the check on behalf of the organization. The check presentation was held at the airport.

"It is heart-warming to know that a portion of the proceeds raised from this year's ESL International Air Show will help ensure that children and adults in our community who face developmental challenges can lead productive and satisfying lives through services provided by Lifetime Assistance," said Fiedler.

This is the fourth year that ESL has been the primary sponsor of the Air Show. ESL sold tickets for the show at its branches in Monroe and Ontario counties. In addition, more than 130 ESL employees volunteered their services for this fun and memorable event from directing parking, managing ticket sales and receipts, and organizing food and water stations.

Fiedler also thanked all those who organized and worked on the event and stated that the Air Show remains an exciting event for the residents of Monroe County, as well as for ESL and its employees. "It is, once again, a great example of what makes the Rochester area such a wonderful place to live and raise a family," said Fiedler.
