"I am thrilled to announce that the 2009 ESL International Air and Water Show will be presented at Ontario Beach Park this year," said Brooks. "Ontario Beach is truly one of the crown jewels in our outstanding County Parks system, and has long been synonymous with summer fun for countless families in our area. "Monroe County is proud that the Canadian Forces Snowbirds have selected Rochester as one of its 41 show sites across the United States and Canada for 2009," said Brooks. "This will mark the Snowbirds inaugural performance in our area, which is especially significant considering Canada is celebrating its centennial of flight this year."

In addition to the famous Canadian Forces Snowbirds, there will be several civilian air show performers participating in the 2009 ESL International Air and Water Show. Spectators can also look forward to viewing tactical demos by the A-10 Thunderbolt II, the USAF F-15E Strike Eagle, the US Navy F-18F Super Hornet, and the US Army golden Knights jump team.
